Obituary for Cheryl Anne Young (Lewis)
Cheryl Anne (Lewis) Young, Age 55 of Dayton fought a long battle with PKD but lost the war on May 16, 2020.
She retired from National Archives & Records Administration after being diagnosed with PKD.
Cheryl loved her music and her family.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father David D. Lewis, grandparents Robert & Martha Lewis and Arthur & Mary Frances Reed, aunts; Hazel, Pauline, Shirley, Barb & Suzie (Carolyn) & uncles; Jack, Gus (Fred), Gene, Joe Brown & Jeff Reed.
Left to Cherish her memories are her mother Brenda Joyce Lewis, Children; Alexander (Jessica) L. Young, Brittany D. Young & David E Young, sisters; Marsha (Smokey) King & Deanna Lewis, & Jodie (Tommy) Bowen who was like a sister, grandchildren; Preston M. Young, Kaden J. Young & Micaela N. Allen, aunts; Linda Reed, Sue (Dan) Diener & Beth (Steve) Stafford, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, May 22, 2020, from 11am until time of funeral at 1pm at the Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home, 1632 Wayne Ave. Pastor Jeff Cartwright officiating.
Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
